Vinyl Flooring

Vinyl Flooring has come a long way! From the limited linoleum designs of the 50’s and 60’s, today’s vinyl offers amazingly realistic wood, stone, or ceramic looks. Today’s wear layers are thicker and more durable than ever, and there are now vinyl floors that can even be installed “below-grade” in a basement game or family room.

Vinyl is warm underfoot, easy to install, and easy to maintain. Simply mop with a no-wax cleaner, and sweep to remove particles that might scratch the floor. Today’s vinyl floors are asbestos-free, making them a safer choice.

Vinyl flooring is sold three ways—as squares, planks (for simulated wood looks) and sheets. Sheets are usually either 6’ or 12’ in width. We offer all three in a variety of price points. While “peel-n-stick” tiles are still used for some projects, the majority of better quality vinyl tiles these days are glued down with a pre-mixed adhesive.

Airstep can be used “below grade” for family rooms, basements, or anywhere else in the home—even a kid’s bedrooms! There are patterns ranging from traditional to kid’s designs. Fiberfloor® is a sheet product that can be loose laid or glued around the room perimeter

Duraceramic® are hybrids made from vinyl and ground-up limestone chips. They offer a more durable, realistic look than most vinyls—the Duraceramic® can even be “grouted” with a special grout product. However, they are warm underfoot and are easily installed.

If you are looking for vinyl flooring and don’t want the “same old” that the home centers have, come check us out! We have your vinyl flooring solution, and we can install it for you too!
